Who We Are

Mobvision Song Contest is an AI-powered music competition operated by Mobvision Contest INC, Netherlands. Mobvision Contest INC is the controller responsible for deciding how and why personal data is processed. For this policy, "Mobvision", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Mobvision Contest INC.

TLT Computing Technologies SRL, Romania, hosts the website, databases, media, archives, and operational backups as a processor acting on Mobvision's instructions. These systems are hosted in Romania within the European Economic Area.

Data We Collect

When you sign in with Discord, we receive and store your Discord account identifier, display name, avatar URL, and login timestamps. We do not request or store your Discord email address, Discord password, Discord access token, or Discord refresh token.

We also process information you provide or create while using Mobvision, including profile details, artists, personas, region claims, roles, song and national-final information, descriptions, platform links, uploaded audio, video and images, highlight timestamps, votes, scores, publication status, and contest results.

If you voluntarily submit an error report, we process your message, the relevant page and action, a support reference, browser user-agent information, and limited technical context needed to investigate the problem. Our servers also create operational and security logs.

How and Why We Use Data

• To create and maintain your account and authenticate you through Discord.
• To operate submissions, region claiming, voting, scoring, national finals, results, and contest administration.
• To host, display, reproduce, stream, promote, and archive contest-related content.
• To provide support and investigate technical errors.
• To secure the service, prevent alternate-account abuse, protect vote integrity, enforce contest rules, and resolve disputes.
• To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

Legal Bases

We process account, profile, submission, and participation data because it is necessary to provide the contest services you request and administer your participation. We rely on our legitimate interests to protect contest integrity, prevent abuse and vote manipulation, secure and troubleshoot the service, resolve disputes, and preserve edition records. We process information where necessary to comply with legal obligations. Where a genuinely optional activity requires consent, we will request it separately and you may withdraw it at any time.

Public Information

Information connected to a published profile, artist, region, submission, national final, vote result, or contest result may be displayed publicly during the active edition. This may include display and artist names, profile and artist images, region, song title, description, submitted media, scores, and results. Unpublished submissions, private account information, individual voter identifiers, technical records, and archived databases are not made publicly available.

Cookies and Sign-In

We use a necessary HTTP-only session cookie named mobvision.ed3.session to keep you signed in. It uses secure browser protections and may remain valid for up to seven days. Mobvision does not maintain account passwords. Discord processes authentication information under its own terms and privacy policy.

We use browser local storage for preferences such as theme selection and for caches of public website information. Mobvision does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies.

Service Providers and External Content

We do not sell personal data or disclose it for third-party advertising. Limited data is processed by services necessary to operate Mobvision: TLT Computing Technologies SRL provides hosting and storage; Discord provides authentication and community functions; and Google provides the email service used for correspondence.

Our pages load Google Fonts, YouTube embeds, and flag images from FlagCDN. When your browser loads these external resources, the relevant provider may receive connection information such as your IP address, browser details, and the page requesting the resource. Those providers process this information under their own privacy policies.

We may disclose information where required by law, a court, or a competent authority, or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Retention

Data is retained in the active systems while an edition is operating. After an edition closes, its complete website and relational database are retained as a restricted edition record for two years. The dataset is kept together because separating individual database tables would impose disproportionate technical and operational costs and could compromise the integrity of related contest records.

After those two years, the complete edition dataset is moved to a secured, non-public archive for a further five years. The archive cannot be accessed through the public website. Access is available only through the authorised legal representative of TLT Computing Technologies SRL following an approved and documented legal, regulatory, data-rights, dispute-related, security, or contest-integrity request. Archive access and retrieval are logged.

After the five-year archive period, the edition dataset is securely deleted unless specific information must remain under an applicable legal obligation or documented legal hold. Encrypted rolling operational backups are retained for seven days solely for disaster recovery. If a backup is restored, applicable deletion, correction, restriction, and objection decisions are reapplied.

Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, including the GDPR, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing, a portable copy of information you provided, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights may be limited where continued processing is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We may ask for information needed to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection supervisory authority.

Age Requirements

Participants must be at least 13 years old and legally permitted to participate under the laws applicable to them. Where local law requires parental or guardian authorisation, the participant is responsible for obtaining it. Discord may apply a higher minimum age in some countries.

Security

We apply technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect personal data, including restricted administrative access, secure session cookies, access controls, separated non-public archives, access logging, and short backup rotation. No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
